It was one fine morning. I woke up early because I had a dream, a voice asking me to become a Radio Broadcaster … aahh nothing like that!! Well it’s a long story but need to tell. I used to sing for this local band and in those jam sessions we used to hear a lot of music, Bands such as Pink Floyd, Queen, Frank Zappa etc. The way these bands used to perform were out class and those Singers, they were amazing! From there I realized that we can use our voice as a tool of expression or communication, so I started studying about it and then I realized that how powerful this tool can be and then in late 90’s Radio (FM) was introduced. I used to adore Radio Broadcaster of that time. They were so professional’s and so ethically bound that it used to attract me and then that day came when I gave my first audition and the journey began.
4. What inspired you to take up the job of a radio jockey?
Music! Not just as an entertainment but as a source of cultural knowledge but as a Radio Broadcaster it should be Literature and one thing is for sure the best thing about radio, the instant attention of the Listener.
5. Which is the #1 radio station in town and why in your opinion?I don’t believe in this Race for Positions. Every station got its own listener ship and every station is doing fine. Now they need to invest more to raise the bar of quality. That’s it.

8. How do you hold the attention of your listeners?
I just don’t try to impress my listener’s by talking in English or cracking up bad jokes. I try to be normal, play some good music, and share some idea’s that’s it. For me this is the formula.

My Mom

Wild, Adventurous and Obnoxious.
11. You deal with the public directly. There must be various experiences you have had while talking to callers. Can you share some of the more unusual ones?
